Rising above the picturesque village of Robertson in the NSW Southern Highlands is the Old Roberston Cheese Factory established in 1936 by the local dairy farming community.

Today the factory remains a Southern Highlands icon, maintaining all its original charm and character. It houses a variety of specialty stores including clothing, homewares, toys and sweets, plus a delicious range of gelatos made onsite.  The factory cheese shop offers over 70 varieties of local, national and international cheeses, plus a range of complementary gourmet products such as olives, jams and freshly baked breads.

Visitors can also enjoy stunning views of Robertson’s green rolling hills as they dine on the best of fresh, regional produce served at the factory’s gourmet Café. The Robertson Cheese Factory Café also opens (as advertised) for specialty jazz and theme nights, and offers cheese tasting, cheese and wine and cheese appreciation nights and much more.

The Old Robertson Cheese factory truly is a contemporary taste of rich highlands history!
